Woman Killed in Boyds, MD, House Fire

Montgomery County firefighters, who encountered hoarding conditions, found the victim on the second floor.

A woman was found dead by firefighters following a blaze in Boyds early Tuesday.

Neighbors called 9-1-1 after midnight saying they saw heavy smoke coming from the house on White's Ferry Road.

Crews encountered heavy fire and cluttered conditions in the two-story house, WJLA reported.

The fire remains under investigation.
